Join The Good Wood Guys for an urban sawmill demonstration. Learn the biology of trees with Chris Crocker, BA in biology and chemistry and Masters in secondary teaching. See a log milled into lumber, and enjoy the fun of learning about it all.

After the sawmill demo, join The Good Wood Guys in the shop to build a hardwood snowflake. We will walk you through the project step-by-step and if you choose, you can buy a kit and make it in the shop or take it home to assemble. Great holiday decorating or gift ideas, and lots of fun for all ages.

We have room for 40 people in the sawmill demonstration, but only 20 working in the shop at one time, so please RSVP so we know how many are attending and can plan for chairs, kits, and handouts. Email susan@goodwoodguysonline.com if questions. Thank you!
