The Mutineers are a rock duo that blends the twangy influences of Johnny and June with the punk vibe of John Doe and Exene, and the dark sounds of Nick Cave and PJ Harvey. Husband and wife Brian Mathusek and Merry Young, are currently based out of a small town on the Lower Columbia River in Washington, but have been mostly on the road since 2017, completing 4 national tours including performances at Boise's Treefort Music Fest in '17 and '18.
