The Great Falls Americans are a Junior A hockey USA Hockey sanctioned team located in Great Falls, Montana that plays in the North American 3 Hockey League's (NA3HL) Frontier Division along with seven other teams including four teams in Montana (Bozeman Ice Dogs, Butte Cobras, Helena Bighorns and the Missoula Jr. Bruins) as well as three teams in Wyoming (Gillette Wild, Sheridan Hawks, Yellowstone (Cody, WY) Quake). The players (ages 16-19) get recruited by the coaches and come from all over for a chance to get a college scholarship.
