Judith Jonas - The Magic of a Child's Brain Description:
On Friday, December 6th at 6:00 p.m., Judith Jonas will be having a book signing and book overview of The Magic of a Child's Brain: Ways to Overcome Learning Deficits. Judith is a local child advocate. She has published a book for parents and those who are associated with children. Judith has been asked to write this book for many years because of her advocacy for those children having processing challenges.

-Judith Jonas did an intensive self-study in the research of sensory basics and its connections to neurological and educational research.
-The goal is to improve a child's capabilities.
-Sensory basics are more than just eyes, ears, nose, touch, and taste.

The Magic of a Child's Brain is a book about what we know today concerning the brain's parts and how to make those parts work in concert. The goal is to improve a child's capabilities. This book offers to those connected with children a way to understand parts of the brain and why that is important. It is really easier for parents than it has been imagined to equip children to be more school ready. This books tells the reader how to help the brain work in concert as it processes information. She has included some sensory activities to show how she does it. Judith discovered after more than 30 years of working with young as well as older children that by applying what she had learned through intensive self-study of scientific and educational research, children could better recall information and concurrently develop self-confidence, emotional intelligence and social competence. The key is the brain working in concert.
