Feast of Tabernacles Description:
We will be celebrating the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles on Sunday, September 23rd at 6pm. It will be held at The Milk House at 101 Sun River Rd. All are welcome.

The Feast of Booths or Tabernacles, also known as Sukkot: Commemorates the 40-year wilderness journey. It is a week long celebration of the fall harvest and a time to build booths (temporary shelters of branches) to remember how the Hebrew people lived under God’s care during the 40 years in the wilderness. It is a reminder of God’s faithfulness and protection.

Sukkot is a happy feast when people rejoice in God’s forgiveness and material blessings. We usually have a temporary booth set up on the lawn, decorated with hanging fruits and vegetables. We do a lot of Jewish music with dance and flags and some sharing on the significance of the feast and why we are celebrating it. The Lord has always come to meet with us on these special days and has given visible signs of His presence in the sky above us.
