Explore the art of ceramics by getting first hand experience with techniques such as hand-building sculptural objects by learning multiple building styles. Styles such as: coil/slab, solid and pinch methods. Students will also get the opportunity to throw on the potters wheel to make functional pottery. Surface techniques like graffito, slip trailing, underglaze painting and traditional glaze processes will be explored. Exciting and unique works of art will be made daily. Students will make art for over 3 hours a day, while balancing out the day with indoor and outdoor games, walking to the park and creating outdoor chalk murals.

You may need all-day care for your child during the summer and for that reason we have an option of 7:30am-5:30pm or if you do not need all day care you can bring your child from 10:00am-3:00pm.

A 50% deposit is required to book the camp and the balance is due the first day of camp.

What to bring: wear clothes that your child can get dirty in, and bring a lunch and two snacks and beverages.
