Alzheimer's Association: Communication for Alzheimer's
3:00 PM
Benefits Health System - East Campus Weigand Conference Room
Individuals living with dementia often experience changes in behavior that can be confusing to friends and family. For caregivers, learning to decode messages through attitude, tone of voice, facial expressions and body language can help all involved to connect and communicate in meaningful ways.

The Alzheimer’s Association:
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Their vision is a world without Alzheimer’s. For more information, visit www.alz.org or call their no-cost 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900.
