Speakeasy Prohibition Party (Roaring 20's Event) to benefit Peak Waves Swim Team Scholarship Program


Since 2002 the Peak Waves Swim Team has offered coaching, competition and comraderie. This team has grown to 100 kids from 4 to 18 years old the past fifteen years. "I started when I was seven years old and five years later I am still excited to go to swim practice everyday," commented Bella Pachek.
All of the high school students practice year round on the Peak Waves Swim Team and every one of them swims for their own high school in the fall competitions. "It is a great partnership we have with the high schools, working around schedules and swim meets," Peak Waves Swim Coach Patrick King added. "However, we could not offer our quality program without scholarships for students travel costs to swim caps."

The 8th Annual Fundraiser "Speakeasy Prohibition Party" is Saturday, October 21st. Everyone is welcome to dress up in their finest prohibition era outfit in tribute to the roaring 20s to enjoy wine, beer, whiskey, hors d'oeuvres and desserts at the Meadowlark Country Club from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Live Jazz Music and silent auction included in your ticket price of $50 / ticket or $90 / couple. Tickets are available at the Peak Health & Wellness until October 20th. All funds raised go directly to the Peak Waves Scholarship Program.
