Junior Book Tasting is a book club for picture book readers 5 to 9. Pick up your gift wrapped mystery book in Kids' Place. We will discuss what we read to build our public speaking skills, then stretch our imaginations with a pre-creative writing activity using characters or ideas from our books. Our theme in June is Get Growing. July's theme will be Pets, and we will welcome a special guest, Lady the Therapy Dog. August's theme will be That's Funny. Kids who are ready to move on to chapter books are invited to check out the Page Turners Book Club on June 30th.
