Join C.M. Russell Museum Curator, Emily Wilson, for her lecture titled, "Of Fantasy and Fiction: C.M. Russell and the Female Form."
In conjunction with the opening of the museum's newest exhibition, C.M. Russell: The Women in His Life and Art, the curator Emily Wilson will give a talk on Russell’s artistic influences and his depictions of women within the wider cultural trends of turn of the century America, with a special emphasis on Orientalism. This talk will also point out a few of the interesting connections between Russell and specific women in his life.
